How lucky am I to be one of three sisters.
We have taken our own paths through the years, but always there is a return to home and each other.
Funny how we've all gone back to farming. We share a love for the land. The simple ways; the rhythm of the seasons, a norwest wind in the pine trees, dusty days in the yards, pulling on gumboots on a frosty morning, tired bods at night. The freedom of the hills. We like those sorts of things.
Growing up we shared rooms, still share the odd bath (most definitely "NOT NORMAL" we've been told by many creeped-out friends ) and toothbrushes (refer to previous comment). We all had a similar questionable taste in fashion and love for a holey, ripped singlet. We have the same laugh. We can all be rather impatient. We like to get shit done.
We know each other pretty inside out.
I have two sisters who are also my two best friends...How 'bout that.
Recently one sister moved back to Canterbury and we're all living within 75km of each other. Now I reckon that is something special! Secret commune vibes.
So grateful for my Jaine Sisters
